Barview Jetty
Beach & Campground
Explore and camp among the shore pines, within sight of sand dunes and sandy beachfront. Watch epic waves break over the jetty from the safety of the shore, or on a bench atop a grassy knoll. Oregon’s second-largest campground offers a 160-acre coastal oasis for day users and tent and RV campers alike.
Lookout Tower
From the elevated lookout tower in Barview, the U.S. Coast Guard watches the bar crossing, nearby waters, and shoreline for vessels in distress.
In the days of the U.S. Life-Saving Service, the nearby Barview Life-Saving Station’s lookout was in the building’s central dormer.

Active from 1908 to 1943, the Barview station is the last remaining Life-Saving Service station in Oregon. The privately-owned building has sustained damage from flooding, thieves, and even a car crash. No public access.
The Three Graces Rock Formation
At low tide, this iconic sandstone rock formation offers opportunities for bird-watching, beachcombing, and tide pool exploration. Park near Harborview Drive; cross the railroad tracks to access the beach.
